To help students beat escalating tuition fees Queen Mary University of London has launched an Excellence Scholarship worth £3,000 a year.
The 3K hand-out is targetted in subject areas that the university consider “essential to UK economic growth,” specifically, Science, Engineering and Modern Foreign Languages. To be in with chance of the award, which is worth £9000 for undergraduates, or as much as £12,000 for Queen Mary’s Masters in Engineering, students must achieve AAA in their best three ‘A’ levels (or equivalent).
